Kevin Price

It is with regret that Whitchurch Rugby Club announce the very sudden and sad passing of one of its stalwarts in Kevin Price at such a young age.

Kevin played for many years in the back row for the first team, then in later years for the vets.
A good hard, honest player who would not take a backward step.
He toured with the club to America, Ireland and not forgetting the riotous trips to Southampton.
Not only was 'Pricey' a good player, but we discovered he had a thespian side with Oscar winning performances as 'Prince Charming' in our rugby version of Cinderella and as the 'Tin Man' in the Wizard of Oz.
A man of few words who enjoyed a beer, sing song and a good laugh.

Kevin you will be greatly missed by everyone who new you and thoughts of all players, committee and members past and present of Whitchurch Rugby Club go out to the family and Sheila.

R.I.P TIN MAN.

Kevin's funeral is on Tuesday 9th February 2016, 12:30 at Thornhill Crematorium.
